Lucky “U” will be offering week long camps, the weeks of June 6th and 13th, 2011, that combing Fur, Fun and Friends. Children ages 7-15 will learn relationship and leadership skills while working with the “guests” at Lucky’s Place Animal Rescue. Program will run M-F, from 8 am -4 pm. Space is limited so please call soon.
Our program manager is Andrea Rahm who brings 17 years of experience in facilitating Animal Assisted Activities and Animal Assisted Therapy and holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Psychological Services. As teacher and therapist, she is well equipped to facilitate learning how to engage in healthy relationships with animals and how to apply those skills to personal relationships with family and community.
